I am Marijeta Kobetič, with a PhD in Education and many years of experience in the field of personal counselling.
I received my PhD in 2017 at the Department of Pedagogy and Andragogy, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.
I studied with Sanja Rozman, where I gained informal experience in the field of individual and group educational-therapeutic programme. The programme included experiential and theoretical work based on reprocessing traumatic experiences from the primary family, social learning and support in defining, understanding and managing non-chemical addictions and empowering addicts, as well as learning about different therapeutic techniques.
I have several years of experience in the field of social work and pedagogy. I started my career working in a school counselling service, passed the professional exam for counsellors in the field of education and gained valuable experience working with children.
I have counselled families on education and family and partner relationships, as part of my work at the Centre for Social Work. I also have experience in working with vulnerable target groups, having worked for several years as a coordinator in social activation projects. I have also passed a professional exam in social welfare.
I obtained the title of Transactional Analyst – Counsellor under the mentorship of Dr. Zoran Milivojević, PhD med. spec. TSTA, a renowned psychotherapist and a regular trainer and supervisor of the International Transactional Analysis Academy (ITAAc) and the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) as well as the European Transactional Analysis Association. Also under the mentorship of M.Sc. Ivana Mandarić, teacher and supervisor of Transactional Analysis (PTSTA-P) .
I am trained in the field of coaching. I have attended various trainings. I have successfully completed the training at the Koučing Centar and obtained the Integrative Constructivist Coaching Diploma.
In 2021 I became a member of the Slovenian Coaching Association, which is part of the global network of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
In 2023 I received the EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) Practitioner level.
In 2023 I received the ACC accreditation from the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
In 2022 I started working with Quantifly. I do 360 analysis interpretations for them.
In 2023 I became a member of the International Coaching Federation and ICF Chapter Slovenia.
In 2023 I became a lecturer at the School of advanced Social Studies Nova Gorica.
In my free time I like to read and educate myself on different psychotherapeutic approaches and attend different coaching trainings.
My strengths are that I am highly educated and professionally skilled, and that I know how to use this knowledge effectively in coaching and counselling. I have excellent consulting competences coming from different fields such as education, social work and entrepreneurship.
I have extensive work experience that has shaped me and enabled me to realise what I want to do in life.
I want to help entrepreneurs become better at managing people. As a result, I want to contribute to a better climate, better relationships and better working conditions in the company. And thus also to improve the way we recruit, improve relationships, improve leadership competences, invest in employees, how to retain employees, improve communication and trust, prevent burnout, etc.
Helping others is my passion and where I draw my energy from. My greatest reward is a satisfied client whom I help to make a change for the better.
