Struggling with self-confidence?

Many people struggle with self-confidence.
I was one of those people 🙂

But I compensated by trying to work as hard as I could and make as few mistakes as possible, just trying to do it perfectly.
To hide the fact that inside, I was just a scared little girl who desperately needed the approval of others.

Where did my lack of confidence come from?
From feeling I wasn’t good enough, unfortunately, from my upbringing, or lack of it.
Because of my lack of confidence, I was always looking for approval, never sure about what I did, always checking with others:
😢 Is it good?
😢 Is it enough?
😢 Am I good enough?

Always proving my worth.

That gets tiring.
Because there is no end to it.
It’s exhausting, and you don’t deal with the underlying issue, that you think you are not good enough.

And I see many people struggle with the same thing.
Trying to do it all, but ending up feeling not so great at the end of the day. Exhausted.
Burned out. 🔥

There is no easy solution to this.
It’s a work on yourself kind of thing.
Sometimes for years.
But the good news is that it does get better.
I did get better.

To boost my confidence I practice my 🦸‍♀️ Superwoman pose.
I use it when I need a boost of confidence before I go on stage or have a workshop.
It takes hard work, but it is worth it in the end.
