If you’ve recently spoken with young people, you might have noticed how openly they talk about mental health.
Not long ago, a young student openly shared with me that she has ADHD, without any hesitation.
For older generations, such directness is often unfamiliar.
We tended to keep our struggles to ourselves 🙊 or share them only with close ones.

In leadership, this can be a challenge, as young people want leaders to be vulnerable, to speak openly about their weaknesses, experiences, conflicts, and even their mental health.
If you want to connect with and adapt your leadership style to the new generation, you can start with:
🔸 Individual coaching, which helps you resolve personal barriers and prepare for openness to change;
🔸 Team coaching, where you can build authentic relationships, increase trust, psychological safety, and improve communication and relationships within the team.
With greater openness, you can create an environment where young people feel heard, understood, and supported.
